An Introduction

Hi everyone. This blog spot is just a place for me to post my latest dog paintings and artwork. I'm an industrial designer by trade, currently working in the Seattle area. I actually live in Mukilteo, which is a northern suburb. Very romantic kind of place. There's even a ferry:)

I was an automotive designer for about 10 years, working in Detroit. This is also where I went to school. CCS is my alma mater, located in the heart of Detroit's cultural district. But I got tired of the car scene, and decided it was time for a change. Which led myself and my wife to Seattle.

So anyway, like I said, this blog is just a place for me to post my artwork of dogs as well as whatever happens to inspire me at the time.

Delta

And here's a painting of our first dog Delta. She's the best. Sweet and good natured, and always ready for a nap. This is a painting of her when she was a puppy.

Jackie

So here's the painting that started it all. My best girl Jackie. Everyone needs and should have a sidekick. And she is mine.

I did this painting using Corel Painter. I do all my paintings digitally, which can be a bit unfamiliar for many people. But it's basically just like painting on canvas, only I use a sketch tablet as my canvas.
